Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge comes with all the latest and powerful features a smartphone can offer this day. At first look, many people may think it as Galaxy S6 Edge though, for its identical appearance with the predecessor but Samsung has carefully refined some of the features in the design so that users feel comfortable in using this curved smartphone. The company also brought back water and dust resistance feature after withholding it from S6 series. The S7 Edge comes with two different processor options - Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 Octa. While both processors promise similar performance, the Exynos ones have been found slightly better, at least for the battery life. Speaking of battery, the S7 Edge has a 3,600mAh non-removable battery which can be charged very fast (0 to 100% in 100 mins only) by using Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 2.0 standard. Samsung is focusing on Virtual reality very much this time and offered a free Gear VR with pre-ordered S7 Edge. While the virtual reality is still a long way to go, Gear VR provides a good introduction to this new technology. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has it all except for FM Radio, IR blaster, and removable battery. Samsung would hope that people wouldn’t bother about these things after experiencing all other exciting features it offers.
